HoopsUp (“HoopsUp”, “we”, “us”) runs hoopsup.com, a directory of basketball courts in Indianapolis and nearby cities. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the topic you choose, any court name or address you add, and your message. We use this only to reply to you and to add or correct court listings.

Location you choose to share. If you tap “Near me” or use the location button on the map, your browser asks for permission to share your location. If you allow it, we use it only to show courts near you. We don’t store your location on our servers.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and our analytics tools collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the time of your visit. We use this to keep the site working, secure, and to understand how people use it.

2. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use:

  • Necessary cookies that make the site work (for example, remembering your cookie choices).
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use the site.
  • Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) to show ads, as explained below.

When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept, reject, or choose which cookies to allow. You can change your choice at any time using the “Preferences” option in the banner, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
